A new version of our WordPress framework, MeetGavernWP v. 1.9.3, was released last week. This update fixes some issues that arose due to changes introduced in the latest version of WordPress, version 3.9, and also brings some of its own improvements, which are described below.

WordPress 3.8.2 as well as 3.9 RC released
An update for Wordpress version 3.8 (3.8.2) and 3.7 (3.7.2) was released yesterday. It is recommended that you update WordPress as soon as possible to ensure that your site’s security is up to date. Additionally, the 3.9 RC version of WordPress was released, and this also includes the same security fixes. It seems likely then that the release date of WordPress 3.9 will be sometime next week.

This article articulates the weaknesses of password-protected posts very well; the main one is the fact that if we set the same password for multiple posts, then the user automatically gains access to each of them (due to how data is stored in the password-protected posts) and the lack of password protection for page attachments and comments added to such a post.
