25/01/2012 - 14:48 Written by Tomasz Dziuda

Today, we have released packages for Joomla! 2.5 for all of our Joomla! 1.7 templates.

Additionally, all Joomla! 1.7 quickstarts have been upgraded to Joomla! 1.7.4.

List of changes:

  • added option to save template settings directly from  an administrator panel
  • facebook social API language fix
  • improvements in tools management on pages
  • scaling layout of  the template settings for screen resolutions
  • small fixes for ie7
  • added button 'switch to mobile version' at the top of the page on a desktop view in mobile devices
  • updated facebook login plugin
  • added styling for new Joomla features - article options & smart search
  • disabled loading k2.css stylesheet when it is unnecessary
  • small fixes for menu performance
  • fixes for the template scripts
  • small bug fixes

Due to big amount of changes, we recommend to upgrade all files if you need to upgrade the template from Joomla! 1.7 to Joomla! 2.5.

@sanjiv - upgrade is really simple - upgrade your Joomla! by the built-in Joomla! update manager and then install new version of the used template for J!2.5. The last recommended step is installing the News Show Pro GK4 3.0 and Image Show GK4 1.22 - that's all :)
