I want to be mobile again

Okey, I have got my Android phone with me but it has got only a 3.2-inch touch-sensitive screen. Like other clients, I want to be mobile publisher; I want to add articles to Joomla! from Article Manager. But how to hit so small icons & links?

Almost year ago I've found a good solution, which is still developing, it's time to share it. Joooid is an Android (v1.5 and later) client for the Joomla CMS: it has been created to publish articles with images, galleries and a maps indicating the GPS position where the article has been published from (sample article here).

Among the Joooid's features there is an article manager that allows to browse, publish or trash articles and an utility that uploads files from the Android device directly into the Joomla directory (see features here).

To start using Joooid, you need to download and install it from the Android Market (completely free) then install the Joooid plugin (see instructions here), it is also possible to install some extra plugins to embed Google maps in your article and optionally a shadowbox plugin for the image gallery.
In the latest version of Joooid 1.1 beta 2, Stefano Norcia, author of this tool, added new features finally the EDIT ARTICLE feature is implemented in the article browser.
Since I use it I have no problem to hit a right button (icon) in my (new!) Joomla! control panel, great solution for me and also for our clients. So fun to be mobile again!
