Our new Support Forum is open

We are very happy to announce that today, we start running our new forum.
Till now, we used Kunena component, however, we have decided to change it into phpbb3 script; one of the best scripts available on the market. We promised you to make our forum work in the middle of December and we accomplished it earlier.
From now on, technical support will be available via forum only.
Now, the ticket system (technical department) is reserved for customers having Developer licenses. Each ticket not coming from the Developer will be removed automatically.
We do hope, you will like our new forum; it is faster, has many functions and it is easier to find information needed.
Please note! Some of today’s posts could be lost because of the migration process.
We apologize for this happening.

Hello everyone, I have a problem with a registration form, with the recaptcha with the error "Input error: Invalid referer" I change several times the recaptcha key and still I have the same error, if enyone can help me I appreciate it. My template is yourshop 2.5 Thanks

In Image Show GK4 module
I would like to link "open new tab" link from text slide.
Now is working only in _self mode.

Where can i find the modification of Joomla module loader file (/libraries/joomla/application/module/helper.php) in gavick templates. I am using GK Music Template with OSE Membership component installed. I patched the helper.php file from the /libraries/joomla/application/module/ folder but it is not loading from there instead it seems loading from the template file. Can someone help me to locate the file

Hello all
Gavick pro team' job is a good and nice one but a remark about ticket system change : using ticket system is now reserved for developers members, but the change during a contract is not regular.
When I've suscribe business plan, ticket system was include and now stopped before the end of contract : that's not right ! ( for lawiers and I am...).
Changing contractual condition must make with precaution with customers, if not the risk is to loose customers.

Hello, I want to expose a problem that must solve.
Shop in the template layout module position "top nav" between the logo and the search, I have two links in the menu gkButtoms.
The first is in sign, the second is Become a member.
Because I have to translate into Italian by a sign in the "Entra" Become a member and to "Diventa un membro", I understand where they are located inside the admin panel ...
I have already installed the Italian translation as an application, and everything is working except my two entries in the menu.
From the top nav menu is only Blog and Help.

yes hello i have joomla 1.6 version and i have bought the world 2 template i was wondering how to add sub pages for that template.

There is so much that GavickPro does right. Sharp templates. Great framework. Etc.
Support? Not so much.
When I bought my LIFETIME membership, it was with the understanding I would have access to support via forum or email. In fact, the Gavick.com site STILL says that!
However, notwithstanding the breaking of that agreement, I would not need to use email if the forum questions were answered. There are a LOT of ignored questions in the forum, many with multiple users begging for an answer.
I would gladly pay for a yearly membership if I could just get decent support. Perhaps Gavick.com should review its' marketing strategy. -
How to remove the DATE on PhotoSlider GK3 an ImageShow GK4 ?
I have tried on both versions the one for Joomla. 1.5 and Joomla.17 respectively. I have googled, poked the settings here and there searched in the files. And databases for several hours. I just can't find it.
I will not post my website names if this forum is public. I will make those website look bad in the SEO, or my name. -
There is a real lack of consistency from month to month on this support issue. I would have personally preferred it if you would have just left the original forum in place so that bookmarks would still work.

Yes, Robert, I also wanted to ask why you decided to use phpbb3 instead of Kunena when the later is fully integrated into Joomla. The reason I asked is I'm on the process of creating a new feature for my website and I am thinking of Kunena and I'm looking for Gavick template that supports Kunena and found your posting.
Can you give us pros and cons? I know you don't have to explain yourself to us, I'm just asking a favor if you can give us ideas.

What is the method for the Folio template to have the homepage display as it does in the demo. I changed the home page menu option in error and now i'm unable to get it to display the thumbnails to my articles.

If you hit "mark forums read" in board index and wait for the automatic redirect it directs you to the gavick main page - not the board index. -

Can I ask why you feel the need to dump Kunena in favor of phpBB?
Naturally phpbb, being a pure forum platform, should be more powerful, but still was wondering if you have encountered some specific deficit in Kunena that made you take this decision.
I suppose you will be using jfusion to integrate phpbb with joomla. Am I right?
