With version 2.9, we've added several new features to our templates, such as: dynamically-loaded images; improvements in the Open Graph implementation; support for Pinterest in our Social API build; and, a Prefixfree feature in the developer settings.

Today, we have updated our templates to Gavern 2.8 version, which fixes some problems mentioned on our forum and we also added some new features. First of all, we have updated Google +1 button script and added new options to this area. Now, you can select one of four different layouts of a button, change width for this element via template settings and choose a way of displaying amount of clicks.

Today, we have updated our templates to Gavern 2.7 version. Apart from some small bug fixes, we added some new features to our framework. First of all, now users have possibility to disable a main template menu (via template settings) and use only menu loaded via standard Joomla! module position. We have also implemented custom menu titles, a functionality brought by Joomla! 2.5, in our menu class.

News Show Pro GK4 v.3.* - new features

News Show Pro new version brings a mainly expected for users functionality which is image cropping in articles. The second change implemented is “Portal Mode”; from now on, the module look will not be restricted to a schemata given – you may see the examples in Financial Business or in The World News II home pages where this functionality has been used many times. Additionally, this new version also has some other improvements, such as support for JComments plugin in K2.

Templates for Joomla! have a specific feature – they are quite extended, especially when it comes to CSS code; while creating a template it is essential to style standard subpages, additional modules, components. The more we want to care about the details, the more the amount of code rises where some parts multiply. Therefore, I have been using CSS pre-compilers for some time to create templates. One of such tools is LESS. I will show you how to use LESS in a template which is based on the latest version of T3 Framework used in our templates and I will show how to use its possibilities.
