I masked wholes social icons at the bottom of Joomla articles. But once the icons removed, there is always an empty space at the bottom of articles. Is it possible to remove this space when there is nothing in it?

I switched them off in the template settings. But the space where icons appear before left blank. It's a shame because this takes up a lot of space. Is it possible to delete the empty blank if no icon is activated?

Try add to override.css
Code: Select all
#gkSocialAPI {
display:none;
}

and remember to enable override.css option in template settings.

Thank you. it works.

I understand the usefulness of override.css file. The difficulty is finding the class name. We do not always know if the function is in the template options or if you have to use the override file.
