Hi,

I have a client that would like to have a background image in the header (behind logo) on the Financial Business template for Joomla 2.5.6.

The template style is assigned to their intranet. They use the same template for both website and intranet using template styles in Joomla 2.5.6 so adding a background declaration to #gkPageTop will not solve the issue.

So my question boils down to this; what code is needed and where should I add that code to achieve this?

Hi

If i understood well your situation, you could create intranet menus, duplicate the Financial Business template and assign this version (with the respective style changes) for all this intranet menu items.

I don't see other way.

That would mean I'd have two templates to maintain, that is not what I want.

So you're saying it's not possible to have an option in the template that one would use to define a header background and a logo for each style?, note that this is possible with logo already, since on this site I have a logo for the website and a different logo for the intranet, indeed I find it strange that this is not possible for the header too. :-/

I'm sorry but i don't have any clue how to make it work.
I talk about this with our Lead Developer and he also does not.
Actually i think it's the first request of this nature.

Thank you for your answer. I really find it strange that this is not possible.

Just to be absolutely clear; what I want is the option in the admin panel to add a background to the header, just like you can with a logo today. I'm having a difficult time understanding that this is not possible since this feature already exist for the logo. It should be easy to extend this functionality to the header, right?
