I use Financial Business but have 2 styles (For example, the Default template blue, and a department the green style, with its own menu.

I have Gavick news show: 2 instances: For the Default, I have News, and for the department home page, I have Department news (a separate module) with the green style.

When a user clicks on READ MORE of an accordian news item, the link takes him back to the BLUE Default template.

How can I maintain a secondary template for internal news links? Or can't I?

Im using Gavik news pro. It is a module, not a menu. The mainmenu system works fine, I go to Department, the GREEN STYLE appears. In the module position mainbody_top I have assigned news_pro GK4. In fact, I have 2 modules: one for the frontpage of the site, and one for the frontpage of the subsite using the green style. These are working fine. They each show their respective news items. In the news_pro GK4 module accordian style, the only way to read a news item is to click on the Read more...

Clicking on the Read more, in the case of the subsite menu (Green) OPENS the news item, but does so at the default site, and with the default site color and loading the default mainmenu. i.e. we leave the subsite completely. I want to open news items that are located in the subsite - within the subsite.

Okay solved the problem, thinking about what you have said. In my case, I do not use a menu, I only use the module. So the solution is to create a FAKE (hidden) menu link to each news source and to assign that menu to the template. Like the multilanguage "all" home trick, there has to be a menu link even if it is not going to be published anywhere EVER.
