RSS on frontpage

RSS feeds show up when I go into a category, but the RSS feed on the homepage is blank. I understand that the RSS functionality is built into K2, but my homepage article is a joomla article. The homepage is menu item type "Articles » Featured Articles".

I would like the homepage RSS feed to show the K2 categories, but I think I would need to convert the HOME item to a K2 category. I tried making the frontpage a K2 category, but it messes up the site.

How can I safely get an RSS feed with all K2 categories on the frontpage (and all other pages)? Do I need to download a separate module for this?

I think you should ask on K2 support forum where you can get more details. What problem you have when you change home page to K2 categories ? Maybe you can attach a screenshot ?

Ahh I think I know what I did. I created a new frontpage article and didn't link the modules to it. Thanks for the help!
