Hello,

I didn't see this issue until after I went live and I was trying to speed up performance. Now my site URL's is not SOE friendly.

I'm not sure if this is happening in your other templates, but this is a serious problem in my humble opinion as it relates to SEO Friendly URL's and Page Caching for performance. They will not work togehter with the Memovie template. If they both are on your images will stop appearing in the template.

You must enable SOE Friendly URL's in the Joomla System Global Confiurations and Caching, then enable the Joomla Caching plug-in to see this issue.

I don't know if this is a Gavick problem on the re-display or a Joomla problem because of the SOE URL change.

1. The Page is loaded correctly with the image on the first pass / load of the page.

2. The page is written correctly to the system cache directory on the first pass.

3. The NON SOE URL looks like this; localhost/joomla153/index.php?option=com...fashion&Itemid=8

4. The NON SOE image properties with this location look like this; localhost/joomla153/images/stories/testc...bergdorf-goodman.jpg

5. The SOE URL looks like this; localhost/joomla153/index.php/fashion/78...an-unveils-little-bg

6. The SOE image properties look like this; localhost/joomla153/index.php/fashion/im...bergdorf-goodman.jpg

7. "index.php/fashion" was added to the begining of the image loaction and this is incorrect.

8. This is not in the coding if you right-click and view the source.

9. This leads me to believe the page is not being re-displayed correctly by the Memovie template, but I could be wrong because I stopped further testing once I determined what the issue was.

Now with out search engine friendly URL's how are my pages going to be found?

All the best!

Issued has been solved!

Apparently, System SEF plugin must be the FIRST plugin for the relative images to work, otherwise, visitors will have problem with images.

Link to forum explanation: forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=199&t=264473&start=30

When I changed the SEF Plugin to the first position the images started appearing.

Thanks!
