Module position

Hello,

First, sorry for my english, i'm French, so I hope you'll be able to understand the problems i meet.

I had a site using already a gavick template. Seeing Memomovie, i wanted to try it.
But things goes wrong for me...modules left and right don't goes side by side : header 2 goes left and header 1 disapear, it comes back when i disable header 2...

At top and top right...well module top right goes too far at right so i can't see the full module, and i was usind Front page slide show to the Top, it let a big place on the left unused.

Never met those problems before with your template, hope you could help me to get things back.

Could you help me on this problem. Modules just dont organise themselves as before, respecting the position of the template.

Have you re-positioned the modules from your old template to the new one? Also from when I visited your site, it seems like the items in your Tabs Module aren't showing up correctly.

Yes I repositionned the modules
Exemple : Tabs goes top right, but it's far right. FPSS is TOP.
Header 1 and header 2 doesnt appear together.

I wonder if it's because of the dimension, but when i goes to the template manager, it's writen the params.ini can't be changed. And when i change some parameters in it, it doesn't change anything on the page (module color is red for exemple, i see it blue, and i changed the left width to 0 and right to 40 and it doesn't appear on the homepage neither.)

Yeah the dimensions may be too big.

You may have to edit the permission settings for the params.ini on your server. Log onto your FTP and change it to "777" so you can make your changes. When you're done, it should make it unwritable yet again.

Well i already done it, changed to 777 but it's back to unwritable soon after and didn't change anything.

In fact, when i see the demo i see the slideshow, bigger than the FPSS on my site, and the image at the right also bigger than my gk_tab.
So...why my fpss stay in the middle, there is nothing on left, and why gk_tabs goes far too right ?

You have to fill up empty position, because T3 Framework used by Gavick behaving a little bit different than that one from JoomlArt. Ex. when you publish something on position right top or bottom and NOT place any modules on positions right1 and right2, you will see only half module on right top or bottom. Try with demo.
So if you need FPSS on header1 you have to publish something on header2. Or whatever position you choose, adjacent should be not empty.
It's very weird thing.

But in my exemple i put fpss on header 1 and a little banner on header 2 and fpss just disapear...

I put something on banner 2 and 3 and in header 2. Still header 1 (fpss) doesn't appear and header 2 goes on the left or taking all the place...ARGH ! ^^

Managed to succeed a bit...add header 1 and 2 width in the css...

Well, for the header1&2 i succeed to get the good position.

But i still can't find the way to have gk_tools on the site. So i don't have the choice of color for exemple. I'm sure it's simple but...don't find the way to have tools and login appear like was register in the breadcrumb before i remove it.

And the right colum, don't change of width even when i change this width in the template manager. So as you can see on the site, two modules near the news are far too right (the gk tabs and the map).
Could you help me on these points ?

I read somewhere that solution :

#gk-mainbody { width:75% !important; }

#gk-right { width:25% !important; }

But i need these change only on the homepage...
