Hi,

I've a big problem!!! Bottom items are now all over mainbody and hire frontpage items.
I haven't done nothing but put new articles in the past days.

I've update the template to the 1.2 version but the problem still remains.

My site is: http://www.ptsims.net/portal/

If you are quick you can see frontpage items before they hide. The button moduloes go over the frontpage. In some sections of the site it works fine, in others the itens aren't visible...Same problem.

Any idea what is doing this? Any fix?

Thank you in advance!

what article?

I've tried to unpublish the last about 10 articles yesterday and the problem continues... But I think that one or more articles must be causing this.

Hi

I've fixed some problems with css. That code do the magic:

Code: Select all
div.gk_npro_mainwrap {
border:none;
}

img.gk_npro_image {
border:none;
}

.clearfix {
height:1%;
clear:both;
}

The problem is inside article visible on the image. Please check it Yourself for unclosed <div> or similar.

Thank you for the fixes! I still have one problem: items in right2 position are out of place.

I've clean the article in the image and others. Tried unpublish again some articles but no luck to fix this one.

Everything that is in position rigth2 isn't in place. Is below the frontage items!! I can find why.

In this image you can see some of the right2 modules that have changed position and are below frontpage items:

Any ideas to fix this one?
Can this be caused by the 1.2 upgrade?

Thanks in advance!

PS: Sorry abou the image but is the only one that I've with everything in place...

checking your module positions with this link:
http://www.ptsims.net/portal/index.php?tp=1

i think i had the same problem,
and if I'm not wrong, i solved it by setting :

Template Manager, Presets,
Mainbody position to: "Mainbody or component"

PS,
maybe I'm not a webdesigner
but here's my 2 cent:
I think u should less "chaos" in ur site
either have the background image more plain (best option in my opinion)
or have ur images less striking (visually i mean)

I say choose a background one at a time, and keep on changing it regularly :)
one day a car, another a helicopter,

don't be offended, but the more simple it is,
and the more vision is comfortable,
the more time one could spend on ur site ;)

regards :)

Thank you Folora.

That don't solve my problem. I've already tried all options in Template Manager, Presets,
Mainbody position and no luck.

About the site thank you for your tips ;)

I fixed!!!!!

I was removing the read more option off all recent articles and after 4 or 5 the modules have return to the right2 position.

It seen to be a bug with the read more option. With other templates it was fine.

I hope this can be fixed by the team in the future.

Thank you all for the help! This one was difficult to fix eheh

Best regads,

It seems that something is wrong again.
I've publish 2 new articles and the modules at the button are missing. The items in the right2 position are more to the right that should be.

I've tried to unpublish the articles but don't fix the issues...

It's frustrating... I never know if a new article will work fine or will damage the layout...

So much work to use this template and I begin to think that I've to move to another more compatible...

Hi

Yes lots of the problem is because of the articles at Your site. Are You using some editor to add them on Your site? Is there some "Clean HTML" option in showing them module?

Usually I write the articles directly in the admin CP. When are events sometimes I copy the info in my forum.

In global config I had selected the JCE (Joomla Content Editor) 1.5.6 editor. Now changed to TinyMCE to see if helps.

I don't know what you mean with "Clean HTML" option. I don't find it anywhere.

I've found the "clean HTML" option in the editor and now is enable.
When I open a article to edit, there is a icon to clean the code. I've done that for all items on the frontpage and a few more, but the problem goes on...
