LOGIN Failure/Errors including Facebook - Boutique Template

I installed the Quick Start version of Boutique template and proceeded to populate the site with content. Some of my K2 articles have restricted access to REGISTERED users.

1. As a superuser I could access the homepage, login and see all the required content. If I did not login the K2 article that has restricted access would show a 403 error and indicate the page did not exist. Not entirely true on previous site if user was unregistered or not logged in it would give a message you need to log in.

Not sure how to fix this?

2. I created a new user in the admin section and gave them REGISTERED USER ACCESS. When I try to log in with this user info I get this error message on the home page: You cannot access the private section of this site. The home page is public. It is also clear I am not logged in as the admin section shows there are no users logged in to the frontend.

If I create a user from the registration page - the same issue.

Why does the login fail?

3. In addition I only download the template this month so the Quick Start package should have the new FACEBOOK login/authentication updates BUT this is also not working.

My main concern is that if users can't log in my site is null en void.

Managed to correct the LOGIN failure for registered users.

Still can't login with facebook and still get a 403 error on a registered article if I am not logged in.

Hopefully someone can help.
