Update version 1.0.1

Installed version 1.0.1. I have been advised by the "Template change" menu "Updates" to update my version to Version: 2.0.1. When using the link it directs you to the download section. Once downloaded and installed it still shows version 1.0.1 and suggest me to update Any suggestions? Thank you in advance

hey.. welcome to gavick... did you follow the steps and overwrite the right files?

It's because the TemplateDetails.xml file say's 1.0.1
I think that's a mistake, and there should stand 2.0.1 instead

Yes, they need to be updated in the download package in download section.
I'm sure it is the new version, and it's only the versions number that is incorrect.

If you want to have the right version number shown, you can edit the template/gk_cherrydesign/templateDetails.xml file:

Change line 11 from:

Code: Select all

<version>1.0.1</version>

to:

Code: Select all

<version>2.0.1</version>

There's no error on the template file. The correct version is 1.0.1 and not 2.0.1.
It's a small mistake of Dziudek, while adding the fields on our update server.

So if you have version 1.0.1, it's correct.
I already rectified the version on update server.

OK, I assumed it was 2.0.1 as it was named 2.0.1 as update package.
And because most of all the other updates are named 2.0.1.
Maybe Dziudek's finger was stuck on the "2" key

I can see you have renamed it to 1.0.1 in the update download now
So now everyone is happy
