Login & Register Problem in IE8

hi everybody out there in gavick´s universe,

trying around with the new sporter template i recognized some problems with the login- an register modules in IE8.

Both modules do not show up correctly. You cannot see the fields, just a small stripe.

You can reproduce it on demosite.

Is this a problem? If so, ist there a fix?
