Move Register, Login and Tools Button

Hello,

I would like to do the same move from the register, login & tool button as the topic below.

This is however from the 1.5 template and I am working with the 1.6, the files don't match as I don't find the pieces of code I have to change. Could someone please post here the updated changes I have to make?

And also please for the 1.7 template as I am also planning on updating the template to 1.7.
