Bug in Quickstart Package - Solved

Hello,

there might be a bug in the quickstart package. Installation works fine, but if you try to install more components, installation fails due to mysql issues. The auto-increment option is not active...
I've tried it a several times. Maybe a corrupt database dump.

Can anyone confirm? I've downloaded the package yesterday...

So, this is definitely a bug.
I've destroyed my database just by adding links...

Fixing the database with phpmyadmin is useless. Too many missing auto-increments

None here either. Has anyone flagged this for a moderator, or are we basically just waiting for them to find it on their own?

I was considering switching over to this version (from 1.5) just to see if I can drop K2 entirely. Now I'm starting to think that might not be a good idea.

Yes moderators were aware and as a similar thread says:

The problem was solved over one week ago and all quickstart packages was fixed.

Thanks for confirming that. I think the 1.7 version has all of the features I make use of in K2 (ACL, nested categories, etc) so I've been thinking of trying this version instead.
