Sidebar Module Only Show In Articles

Is there a way that I can make modules only show on the right side of the screen in a K2 article? If so, what do I need to do in order to make this work? I've tried everything, but the only way to do this is set it to show in all pages. Anyone?

Thank you! :)

Hi

You will need to create an Itemid for this articles. You can do it by setting a menu item with a category or directly linking with one K2 article. This way You will have a position to attache modules to.

Sorry. I'm not quite sure, here. I've got ID's for my categories. In the module, where do you indicate that you want these modules placed on the article page?

Hi

I was talking about ID which every menu option is granted. When You add a new position to menu than it get one. By this ID You are able to attache modues to pages. So all You need to do is to create menu items for articles (or whole categories) where You want to have modules displayed.

Here is an article about a little different problem but the same solution :)

Hi

This is really not so complicated.

1. Please create a new menu.
2. Add an item which will be a category view of articles You need to have landing page.

And that's it :) Now with new menu options You will have possibility to attache modules to page. You do not even need to use this menu on the page.

Thanks. This is very frustrating. I've Added Menu ... Added Menu Item Type: Categories ... Selected ALL K2 Categories ...added Module ... module does not show up in Articles. Am I missing something here?
