Template width

Is it possible to change the width of the template? As you can see in the attached screenshot my text and pictures are all located at the edge of the template and some letters are hidden behind the background. I have looked trought the css files to find something related to the width of the entire template but did not find anything.

In what file do I have to change what line to make the template a little bit wider so that there is more room between the background and the text. Or is there another way of creating this effect?
