K2 and K2 Store installation on 1.7

Is there a special trick for getting K2 and K2 Store installed from the Quick Start 1.7 installation?

It's not turning up as a plug-in or component once I've uploaded it...

Any ideas?

K2 is not ready in stable version for Joomla 1.7. You can get the beta version here http://getk2.org/svnDownload.php but this is not supported by gavick so you should wait the stable version and then wait gavick customization for your template. Same for k2 store.
