Remove tabs for registered users

Hi

Is it possible to remove tabs in the middle of page for registered users. On first visit nonregistered visitors see tabs, once they registered tabs are hidden for them, cause we would use tabs for instructions. Once instructions are read user is registered .. no need for them anymore.
