Musicty issues: video embedding, numbers in URL

Since the ticket system isn't operating anymore, I'll just post my two questions in here.

Firstly, Im running Musicity on Joomla 1.7. I ran the same template on 1.6 a while ago and didnt have the emdedding issues that im having now.

Basically, when I have video embedding text or any html embedding text, when I enter it into the article box (under the toggle editor) after I save it the code has dissapeared or been edited to a more simplified version that doesnt work on the front end. I've read that it can be because of Tiny MCE and when I disabled that it did work, but in the long run I have to have Tiny MCE on because there are many site admins and its the best back end editor. I've checked and my Super Admin filter isnt set to blacklist, its set to no filter.

This is an issue because the front page video module on Musicity depends on HTML code, so when I have that module published the site homepage infinitely loads, plus we embed lots of videos throughout the site.

I didnt have this issue with Tiny MCE in the past, any idea whats causing the issue now?

Secondly, When I make menus I'm having some issues. If a menu item is on the root location (no parent) the url shows up fine (index.php/internationalnews). But if the item has a parent, like NEWS is on the root location and INTERNATIONAL NEWS is in the drop down menu the url has annoying numbers in it, like index.php/2011-11-27-01-35-42/internationalnews

Any way to not have those numbers? And if possible, not have index.php in the URL too? I've set search engine friendly urls to ON but it hasnt made a difference. Im sure its an easy fix but I can seem to figure it out!

Any help would be MUCH appreciated! Trying to sort out these two problems asap!

Solved the embedding issue, if anyone is interested changing Functionality from Advanced to Extended in the Tiny MCE editor plug in manager section seemed to fix it for me.

Would still like to fix the URL issues im having. Anyone able to help me out here?

ANYONE? Still having issues with long URLS with numbers in them. Any ideas on this?

The filtering options can be also caused by global Joomla filtering settings in Joomla articles settings. Please check you menu items aliases which are use to generate link. If the aliases are correct please send me mail with forum topic in title to bkrztuk.gk[at]gmail.com and ftp details.
