Bad Login going to 404

I just upgraded to Joomla 2.5
Also upgraded the template components, and modules.

Everything seems to be working well
except for the login.

If someone types in a bad username or password they are sent to a 404 page.

I submitted my login and ftp info in ticket RSN-567-20182
And was asked to post this issue here.

I disabled it and login works well now.

Somehow that must have happened during the upgrade.
Might be a bug with Joomla.

I spoke too soon.
I came here first and posted, then went to my site and could not get in to the front or back.
It would just sit there trying to load.

There was nothing in the php.error.log or error.log to gave me any direction.
I used Akeeba to revert to yesterdays backup.

I think the picture you provided was of my footer menu.
I deleted that, and still have the 404 error.

I am providing an image of what my Main Menu settings are.

It seems to be a problem of cache. I opened the Home menu item which is exactly like in your screenshot above and clicked Save button without changing anything and it seems to have fixed the issue but I couldn't test because there is a problem with connecting to your server right now. Please help me check that.

Please delete all files stored in in /cache subdirectory in /desktop and /mobile directories.
