Smart Search module

The new smart search module in Joomla 2.5 doesn´t relly fit in the search module position on the Musicity template. See screenshot:

The search field is to high, is there a way to fix that?

Why is it so damn difficult to get an answer to the simple question, in which file should I add the code!?

If you look at our wiki you'll find information that file override.css in prepared for custom changes. Remember only to enable 'use override css' option in template settings.
