Video and 'Read More' help

When I click on the 'Read More' links at the end of the article it just stays on the same page instead of going to the article page. Anyone know how to fix that?

Also, where and how do I place a Youtube video like whats on the demo. I know it uses Vimeo but I'm trying to place Youtube videos. What module etc. Please be specific in the steps, thank you.

**I tried placing the code (iframe code) in 'Recently Featured - right_top' (custom html) module but it just shows the code on the front end instead of the video.

For links not working please make sure you have a menu item linked to the category you are trying to reach in to. This is a joomla problem as if you don't have menu item it cannot get item id it needs to direct your link.

For example. Lets say my top level article category is called news and i have at least 1 menu item which is linked to "news" category. So then every sub category and articles under news and its sub categories will work.

For videos you can install AllVideosPlugin. Makes it very easy to add videos anywhere in your site. You simply use tags to insert videos.

Thank you Norman the video plug-in worked. As far as the 'REA MORE' problem I don't think you understood what I was saying. It's not a menu item that doesn't work it's the 'READ MORE' link at the end of the article.


Also one more problem I noticed that if i go to the webste via cell phone that the "Music City" logo shows up instead of the logo that I replaced it with, that only shows through the desktop. Where do I change this logo?

Regarding read more links. As i have stated this is the way joomla works. So create a menu item called test and link it to K2 category or joomla category where your articles are then you will see it will work.

If above works just for your information this menu item doesn't have to visible in main menu or in your site as long as it is created in back end is active.

Regarding logo you need to replace mobile logo as well.

Thanks Norman I changed the mobile header but the menu item 'read me' problem still exists. I'll private message with log in info to the back end. Can you please check it out?

Also can you refer me to a reliable music player? I want to add a small music player over the search bar.
