Hi,

I just installed Musicity and I am starting to configure my web site, but I bumped into a problem right away. My login module is somewhat strange. The facebook connect and the option to recover the password are out of the box. Please check at www.crowdmusik.com

Can you help me?

thanks

I just had the same problem and its really easy to fix but you will have to try different pixel numbers until you find the correct one to your website.

The size that you have to change is in: /components/com_community/templates/gk_style/css/
the file is: style.css

I opened in Notepad++ that its a free and great simple editor. You can google it to download, it lets you change almost any file in a simple and correct way. Also allows to re-encode to UTF-8 so special characters will appear correctly. (My site is in spanish)

You can check my jomsocial area and see the results in size change here:
www.bandaspr.com/comunidad.html

I use Filezilla to access my website by FTP and its configured to always open files with Notepad++

If you have any problem just send me a message

here is a print screen of the line that you have to edit:

look around line 888 (sometimes varies) for:
Code: Select all
body #community-wrap div.greybox div div div.loginform { width: 220px; float: right; padding: 10px 60px 20px 20px; height: 375px; }

CHANGE HEIGHT (I put 375 in mine, sorry I don't remember original size number)

Its also very important that you check your changes in different browsers like Firefox, Opera, Safari, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome cause they present that area of joomsocial in different sizes, so you will have to choose the one that accommodates everything in place in all browsers.

Hi

Great tip. I will just suggest to use Firebug. With this You can see live the changes done to css code.

Yes I can confirm that error. It only happens in the last version of Internet Explorer. Opera, Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome are ok.

This is something that the gavick team has to check. I'm not sure how to fix it

Hi

Answer from the programmer:

Problem fixed - the updated files are located in the rest_files packages. I
haven't released the official update, because it isn't strictly connected with
the template files.

I've fixed two files in both packages:

- images/jomHeader.jpg
- css/style.css (lines 880-888)

Is it only fixed in the Joomla 1.5 version of the template?

Hi

I'm not sure, but as You can see Dziudek mentioned of updating both packages, so I believe packages for two template versions.

I have updated the files on my site for Joomla 1.6 and there is a difference.

The image jomHeader.jpg is now high enough but it is not wide enough.

The checbox "Keep me logged on" has now dissapeared in IE9 but it is in the right place in other browsers.

Hi

I have a reply from programmers:

Problem with the checkbox will be solved today in the update. Problem with the
image width should be solved by user. The template images are prepared for
specific max. width - if the user needs wider images he has to modify it by
himself.

Hi

You can replace the login module with JS one or use a plugin to make it logg into JS.
