I just had the same problem and its really easy to fix but you will have to try different pixel numbers until you find the correct one to your website.
The size that you have to change is in: /components/com_community/templates/gk_style/css/
the file is: style.css
I opened in Notepad++ that its a free and great simple editor. You can google it to download, it lets you change almost any file in a simple and correct way. Also allows to re-encode to UTF-8 so special characters will appear correctly. (My site is in spanish)
You can check my jomsocial area and see the results in size change here:
www.bandaspr.com/comunidad.html
I use Filezilla to access my website by FTP and its configured to always open files with Notepad++
If you have any problem just send me a message
here is a print screen of the line that you have to edit:
look around line 888 (sometimes varies) for:
- Code: Select all
body #community-wrap div.greybox div div div.loginform { width: 220px; float: right; padding: 10px 60px 20px 20px; height: 375px; }
CHANGE HEIGHT (I put 375 in mine, sorry I don't remember original size number)
Its also very important that you check your changes in different browsers like Firefox, Opera, Safari, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome cause they present that area of joomsocial in different sizes, so you will have to choose the one that accommodates everything in place in all browsers.
