[SOLVED] Login Error 500 - Financial Business J1.7.3, v2.5

Financial Business (J1.7.3, v2.5)

During Login, If fields are not filled out or wrong username/password, why am I getting this BIG ERROR 500 as opposed to something more Joomla friendly error? It should say on your template that wrong username or bad password or mismatch or must enter username and password or something.

Hi like what I said on the other reply, I am on localhost and not connected. I am still doing the template until I able to get it to work properly.

During the process, because I do not want to make any changes on the codes nor the physical appearance of the template, I just made changes to the user manager > menu items and rename them to what I wanted to be and edited the text and images and in some cases move the menus around ie. parent vs child. This way it will be like the demo. For some reason, probably it affected the links in some areas by doing that so, I am getting error 500 and in some cases, like what I had on the other problem mentioned in "Joomla Pages II . User registration ".

just to let you know, I checked my log and it says:

Can you make sure following folder do exists : joomla Root/logs
Can you make sure folder is writable by joomla ( permission settings )
Can you go to " Global configurations > System > Path to Log Folder * : " and enter "./logs" without quotes so it becomes Path to Log Folder * :./logs

Also try clearing your browser cache.
