How to remove login and register buttons

Can someone tell me how to remove the login and register button.
On past templates You could just disable in the template manager but no such luck in this template. I can disable the login in module manager but there is nothing to remove the register button...

In the module layout it is marked userarea but this are is useless to all other modules so the prime space on the template is useless. Just fyi

Did you try unpublish gk_register module ?

One more thing... Can that "userarea" be used to display any other modules. what is the position called? user area by the way isnt it.

userarea is not a standard Joomla position, this is part of the template where user details are displayed.

can you tell me, how i can do the logo from the left to the right side (1002 px width) and in the front the login and register button.
If i expand the logo image to the full width, the login and register buttons will to get out of place.

What php layout file is the code for the "userarea" part of the template in? I want to comment it out and turn it into a module position instead.

I am having a similar issue. I have been able to un-publish the login module and keep it from appearing, but the register button still appears after un-publishing gk_mod_register. See my post:
