Replace the Login/Register Modules

I've been wasting my time trying to find out how to replace the login and register buttons by contact information.

I created a Custom HTMl module and published to the "register" position but, instead of showing the custom HTML, iwch is text only, it shows the regsiter button again.

Cache is disabled and: How am I supposed to know the "unknown" positions of the template?

There is the moduyle positions map that matches the real names?

Any userguide?

Login and register are a special positions. That's why it's been draw with a different color on module position map. Please use any other close position for your text and show me your site than.
