upload pictures does not appear/work

hi guys
my template is not allowing photo uploads to albums etc. part of the time its not showing the upload form, - and sometimes it does, but will not allow an upload.

sometimes, and i stress sometimes when the form "does" come up - it comes up with an error along the lines of "unique id required" or something like that - i cannot currently reproduce that issue...


i have checked firefox, chrome and safari - all have this photo upload problem.
I have also checked my server setup - and it seems fine and in line with jomsocials requirements.

Can you please narrow down a description to which place is this not working? Is it in admin panel or some 3rd party extension ? If it's an admin you should reinstall joomla to exclude broken files case. Check your server settings too or paste a screen here.

sorry - its jomsocial based site. - the photo album features in that.

Is this the frontend feature? Can you give me an exact link to a page with this problem. Anyway I think you should drop this question on jomsocial forum too because if it's a bug from jomsocial itself than I will not be able to help.

thanks - looks like a jomsocial issue - as its happening on default template too.

Please check on jomsocial forum than, but I still think it can be related with folder permissions or server settings.
