Hi all,

i'm trying to change the font size of the titles as they appear too big compared to the rest of the content but i can't find the sourse i have to change. Couldn't find it in the template.css nor in the style2.css (which i use).Can somebody help me? I'm also trying to change the size of the main menu but when i change the size through the administrator template manager nothing changes - neither size of neither font...

Thanks

Firstly enable Joomla Administration > Extension > Template Manager > Select TWN2 Template

On the right select Advanced Features and enable CSS Override option to "ON".

Then edit
Code: Select all
templatesgk_twn2cssoverride.css

For Main Menu Font Size add below code and change 18px to your required size:
Code: Select all
/* Changes Main Menu Font Size */
div.gk-menu > ul.level0 > li > a > span.menu-title {
    display: block;
    font-size: 18px
}

For article Titles Add below Code and change 30px to your required size original size is 48px

Code: Select all
/* Changes K2 Article Title Font Size When in Item View */
.itemHeader .itemTitle {
    color: #1A1A1A;
    font-size: 30px;
    line-height: 100%;
    margin: 0 0 5px;
    padding: 0;
}
/* Changes Joomla Article Title Font Size When in Item View */
#gkComponent > div > h2 a {
    font-size: 30px;
    line-height: 35px;
    margin-bottom: 0;
}

Hello NormanUK.

i just follow your solution to this problem but i still cant change the font size of the titles in the main body.

for the menu everything went well but it doesn't work with the titles.

any ideas?

Ps my website is in Greek but i don't think that is a problem with the fonts

Css code was for when viewing items in sub categories and it seems you want to change frontpage items title as i can see from the screenshot.

In Firefox can you please right click on empty part of your frontpage and choose " View Page Source ", you will get new window with source code.

Search for the news title which is in greek so you can find the code around it and post it here so we can see which class it uses. So if you post around 10 lines it should be sufficient.

Code: Select all
</style>
<div class="contentpaneopen">

<div class="itemToolbar">

<h2 class="contentheading">

      <span>
      <a href="/news/thesprotia/6908-2011-09-23-13-00-50.html" class="contentpagetitle">Σύλλογος εκπαιδευτικών π.ε. θεσ/τίας: Αρνούμαστε να πληρώσουμε τα χαράτσια γιατί πλέον δεν μπορούμε</a>

Try adding below code and change the font-size and height down.
Code: Select all
.contentheading {
    font-size: 48px;
    line-height: 72px;
    margin-bottom: 0;
}

Joomla 1.5 and 1.7 uses different class. If you can be more specific on which page or article type you want to change the font size.

You can use sample links from demo website if you like...

Enable CSS Override from Joomla Admin > Extensions > Template Manager > "gk_twn2- Default " on the right Advanced Features > CSS Override = ON

Edit templatesgk_twn2override.css with a text editor and add below codes.
Change 30px to which ever font size you want to use.
Code: Select all
/* Changes Joomla Article Title Font Size */
.contentheading {
    font-size: 30px;
    line-height: 45px;
    margin-bottom: 0;
}
/* Changes K2 Article Title Font Size */
.itemHeader .itemTitle {
    font-size: 30px;
}
