Dear,

I am building or better trying to build a website based on the My Folio template and I am experiecing the following issues:

- On the Home Page I have now articles instead of the different picture blocks like in the template how does it come
- I have also uploaded or created items, but do not get to see them in the correct category. For example in one menu I have created , I added some items to be displayed. But instead I ge articles not linked to this category. However if I look at the details of the items, I can see the correct category.
=> I tried everything, but does not seem to succeed in getting it work.


Can someone help me in finding out what has happened.

In order change the text "Launch Project", you find it in the template's language file \language\en-GB\en-GB.tpl_gk_myfolio.ini

I need access to check the second question, and need a screenshot to see what you called yellow folders then I can help you further.

When clicking on a tab in the main menu which has a submeu, I get to see some yellow folders or sometimes I get an error page. On my website http://www.nunccontemporary.com/nunc/ this is for the "Exhibitions" and the "Artists" page.

Where can I change the logo.?

How can I solve this? on the demo of My Folio, I cannot click on an item in the main menu for example K2 before I have made a selection in the submenu. How can I make sure this is also the case on my website?

Thanks already for the support. I am however still not able to launch the website and still struggling with the last bits & bytes. Hopfuly, you can help me futher:
- Copyrigts fotter at the bootom right: How can I change this?
- Artists HP: How can i make sure the item in the main navagtionbar cannot be clicked when a sub menu is being displayed.
- Photogallery: I am still not pleased with the photogallery I am curently using as there is no pop-up functionality. Any suggestion?
- Artists page/ I have creatd some additional artists pages based upon one page Look&Feel. It seemed to work, but teh content on the page being displayed is not correct as I alswyas get the cntent of the template page despite the fact that I have uploaed some content.
I hope you can really help me out on this.

- You can change copyright content right in template setting, under Features section.

- If you have set a link for the main menu item, then it always can be clicked, if you set its link to "#" then it can't be clicked.

Thanks for helping me out and answering all my (stupid) questions. I have already learned a lot, but probably underestimated the technical complexity. It's not the plug and play I was hopin for.
In the mean time, these are my answers to your questions:

If you have set a link for the main menu item, then it always can be clicked, if you set its link to "#" then it can't be clicked.

=> On the link below you can see that the biography does not correspond to the artist. However the picture attached shows you that the content is different. Hopefully you can sove this mystery.

Hi,

I don't know why you couldn't change the link, if you click on select button you will see to choose External. I have just done that for you, now go to homepage and try clicking on Artists to see and confirm.

I understand the issue with articles now and gonna check it for you right now, will update you soon.

I fixed the issue of showing wrong article for you. The cause was that in menu item "Hendrik Kerstens", you selected article "Hendrik Kerstens" (ID=40), link /administrator/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&cid=40

and in this article you selected wrong content, the correct article has ID 74.

Yeah. Thanks for having solved my mystery.
However I do not have the tab structure any more on the Hendrik Kerstens page.If you click on the Artist Pablo Picasso, you will be able to see the following tabs at the top (below the breadcrumbs) Gallery - Biography - Exhibition - Bibliography.
Can you explain me how to do this? I had already created the different pages.

I was also wondering how I can for example re-direct the menu Exhibitions immediately to the current Exhibitions sub menu page.

You have tabs there (Pablo Picasso) just because you use tab plugin in its content:

If you want to have the same to other article, just copy that content and change the values in that code accordingly. I give you the format to create a tab below, just change TAB_NAME to whatever you want to show as tab title, and change ITEM_ID to the ID number of K2 item you want to display.

Before lanching the website, I would like to get your expert advice on:

1. Pictures on the Home Page are categorised in the existing categories of the template. However, I would like to use y own of link i. How can I proceed?

2. Map in contact sheet
Can I move this map below the address block? And how should I do this?

3. Image Gallery
Did you install one in the past already? Which one did yo use?

1. The module GK News Show Pro GK4 doesn't support you to do that. You can only choose to use data source from Content/K2/Redshop/VirtueMart components.
