I have the newest version of this template installed - Joomla 2.5...
I have Jomsocial - newest version installed... When you login and check your jomsocial page - most jomsocial sites have the JomSocial toolbar with all the various things you can do... ie. Profiles, Friends, Groups, Photos, Events and all the sub category.... there actually was a Jomsocial Toolbar created in the Menu section... not sure if that was part of the demo content when I installed it or the JomSocial component install put it in... JomSocial with this template - regardless if I use a template that came with it or the template that came with the REST files... just has a few icons on the toolbar... how do I make it so its a full JomSocial toolbar? I also tried to assign that JomSocial toolbar menu to a menu module position and it didnt show up. The site isnt complete, still has demo content but you can see what I am talking about - JustGottaLaugh.com

One other thing - I notice using your jomsocial GK style template... the Home icon on the toolbar and the Global Notifications icon overlap each other.

thanks

Quick Update to my previous post... I just acted like a user on your demo and your demo has the proper Jomsocial toolbar... My install is basically the 2.5 Quick start... no CSS editing or anything like that and the newest version of JomSocial... jomsocial Pro 2.4. I havent done that much after the install... and I do have the Display toolbar in the JomSocial settings.

One other quick thing... When you go to the JoomlSocial Home page - and not logged in - it shows the Get Connected graphics... but also shows members and photos and other stuff... I would like to have it like facebook where you just see the Get Connected part and no member/user info until logged in... any ideas on that?

Hi
Please try go to Jomsocial Toolbar menu and open existed items and save them again. They should show up.

I figured it out a little while ago... when JomSocial installs the menu, they dont make the menu items public... just had to go in there, make them public and save them...

Still wondering how to make the JomSocial Home page without the other items my original post here talked about - ie. has all the members photos and such on the Get Connected / Login Home page.
