User Login & Register Links/Popup

Here’s what I am trying to do. You know how music template has a “Login” and “Register” links in the top right corner? When user clicks on either of those a login or register form pop up. I like that!
What I am looking to do is create the same popup on main page without user clicking on those links. I want the popup to appear on each load of the main page automatically, sort of forcing the user to login or register. Does anyone know how to implement that?
