Login Page Problems

Hi

I am using the latest version of the Music template on a Joomla 2.5.7 site.

I am currently experiencing a number of problems with the login page that users are referred to if they try to access restricted content (the main login pop-up page is working perfectly). Specifically, with the referral login page:

1) The register and password/username reminder options are missing;
2) The GK facebook login button appears (but is not working) even though the GK plugin and template options have been disabled (I am using Jomsocial FB login); and,
3) The gavern-mobile module is loaded, even when accessing the site from a desktop, leading to the double appearance of "log-in" text.

Hi,
I have send info to our programmers. Did you try set Application ID for facebook in template settings ?

Many thanks for the follow up.

With regard to the facebook issue, I can confirm that the FB template fields are empty and the functionality set to "off". I have also deactivated the GK FB plugin. Only the Jomsocial FB functionality should be active on this site.

I also had this issue for the login pop-up, but it was solved by Teitbite - see topic "Couple of Facebook login issues".

Unfortunately, the discussion you referenced didn't really address the problems.

The first problem - duplicate login text - seems to be caused by the insertion of <gavern:mobile> into non-mobile browser pages. I have read discussions related to this which say it was solved in previous template upgrades, but this obviously hasn't worked for me. Any ideas why?

The second problem - GK template FB button apprearing when de-activated in template settings - was solved on others login pages/pop-ups on the my site by one of your colleagues. See the following discussion: https://www.gavick.com/forums/music/cou ... 20923.html. Not sure why this isn't working on this page?
