Did you use cache system ? Probably it is wrongly configurated, please look at this tutorial >> http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joomla-extensions/extensions-for-joomla-1-6/gk-cahce-plugin/

What problem you have with suffix ? Please make sure that you've added space before suffix name like ' suffix'.
