Template too slow!!

Dear Sirs,
we have deployed a new site with eSport template but we are concerned about slowness...

Unfortunately we discovered (ONLY AFTER the configuration!!!) this discussion "http://www.gavick.com/forums/140/template-very-slow-17283.html".
We have implemented some of the solutions suggested but with no fortune...

Can anyone help us to speed up this template?

Hi

Ok. For start please enable CSS and JS compression in advanced settings in template configuration. Disable Gavick and joomla cache.

When You do this than I advice to install jotCache. This is the best solution I know.

I have installed jotcache but when I enable CSS compression and Js Compression I get these errors:

JFile: :read: Impossibile aprire file: D:\htdocs\royal\royal\plugins\system\jqueryintegrator\jqueryintegrator\jquery-ui-1.10.0.custom\css\ui-lightness\jquery-ui-1.10.0.custom.css
JFile: :read: Impossibile aprire file: D:\htdocs\royal\ajax.googleapis.com\ajax\libs\jquery\1.6\jquery.min.js

"Impossibile aprire file" means "can't open file" in italian language.
What can I do?

Hi

This files are being loaded from a google server. Please try locate which extension is adding it and try to change to load a local copy. I'm guessing it's comming from K2 component.

hi, i have solved the errors but the template is as slow as in previous configuration,
I don't have changed the standard configuration of jotcache, do you have some suggestion?

Hi

Please check if jotCache is activated and if plugin is being set to load as last.

If site is still slow with with jotCache working than issue must be somewhere else. JotCache creates an exact copy of all pages so if page is cached already it's not entering a template files at all. It simply loads a single html file.
