This site uses the League News template and Global Configuration is set to show Article Titles. Something was set somewhere that cause the titles to appear twice everywhere. The first title (top) is correct but the 2nd title has ">" in front of it. See screen shot attached.

What setting needs to be changed to turn off the 2nd article title??

Thank you!

It looks like you use cache which configuration is incorrect, please compare your configuration with this tutorial http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joomla-extensions/extensions-for-joomla-1-6/gk-cahce-plugin/. You can also disable cache for test to make sure that this is the source of problems.

The template was set to use the GK cache, but the 2 GK cache plug-ins were NOT installed.

Installed the GK-Cache first followed by the GK-ExtCache ..enabled both and reset (off/on) the "Use GK-Cache "setting in the template. Finally cleared the cache (noticed 3 instead of just the gk). I also enabled the System Cache (it was disabled as well for some reason).

Now, all's working well.

Thank you!

Template version 3.9.2 (the latest according to the Downloads)

We're back to this issue ...enabling the gk cache stuff DID resolve the double title issue BUT BuT the menu link navigation does NOT go to the correct page without having to REFRESH the browser 2-3 times.

turning off the gk_cache and gk_extended cache AND disabling the 'Use GK Cache" in the Template Manager, RESTORED the site's navigation functionality BUT the double titles came back.

Something is very flaky with this thing.

Please help and thank you.

Right now, the GK cache has been turned back on so you can see the issue when you go to this website http://www.usadb.us/court

Now, click on a menu link and then try to navigate to a different article. You will see the URL chnge, but the article stays instead of displaying the correct article. Also, once you click on a menu link, you can't go bck to the menu drop down and click on a different link. It seems that it's all cache issue but something isn't right

Thanks, once again.

Please disable SEF URL's I suspect that problem is there and configure cache like it is described here http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joomla-extensions/extensions-for-joomla-1-6/gk-cahce-plugin/ so default system cache should be disabled and you wrote :

I also enabled the System Cache (it was disabled as well for some reason).
