Hello,

I'm not sure if this is in the scope of support, but I believe it should be. After a lot of trial and error, I realized that if you install JomSocial into this template, something goes wrong. Everything seems to work, but a lot of things don't function properly - for example, I noticed that any user can change any other users avatar. Also, once JomSocial is installed, I have not been able to delete users from the admin panel. I'm not sure what is causing it or why, but I would love if someone could go into the back-end of my site and try to figure it out... It is very frustrating because I would really like to be able to use this template. Would I need to downgrade my Joomla version?

Please help :(

Hi,
1) Which version of JomSocial ?
2) Which version of Joomla ?
3) Try to disable all GK modules, for a while, only on JomSocial subpages and check again.

Yes, we dont support JomSocial, because old version have too many JS which cause conflicts, but I'll try to help.

Hi Pawel,

Thank you.

1) JomSocial 2.8.4.2
2) Joomla 3.1.1
2) I will try this but I don't think I have any GK modules on JomSocial subpages.

Do you think the 2.5 Quickstart of this template would work properly w/JomSocial?

Thanks,

David

Typical we don't support JomSocial, especially when we still waiting for stable JomSocial 3.0 which have better code / support for Joomla 3.1.x.

You can try to change settings in template, but not seeing is hard to say anything.
