After Login

I have a couple of questions.

How do you get when a person logs it to show that the person is logged in. Like a "Welcome User" so he knows he is logged in. I would also like for the user to be able to see his options in a module of somewhere on the site other than have to click on the login button again to see to "create article" or "edit profile"

Also, how can i add more fields in the profile sections. ? I would like for the user to be able to add more information about himself/herself.

I hope that made sense.

thanks,

You need to use some 3rd party extension to extend log options and user management. Our templates use only features provided my Joomla! and if you need some additional functionality you need to look at extensions.joomla.org.
