Hello, every now and then my website appears in a mobile version even when ppl visit with a desktop browser. When this happens, EVERYONE sees the website in this appearance! The only way to restore its proper appearance is to delete the cache.

The funny thing is that the cache is disabled in Global Configuration as well as the Gavick Cache plugins (both disabled)

When I go to delete temporary cache, I see two cached items... one is for the JoomlaWorks Simple Image Gallery Pro and another one called 'page'. When I open the '/cache/page' directory via FTP, it's full of mobile versions of various pages.

Do you have any idea what's causing this and how can I fix it?

Kind regards,
Manos K

Could you please provide me with a URL to your website and back-end access via PM (click the “Private Message” text underneath my avatar) so that I may analyze it? It is a lot easier for us to diagnose issues when we have a live site to examine.

Hi

Please check if problem appears now. I've disabled our cache and used joomla cache only. If problem will still occure plese try with Conservative caching option in global joomla configuration for server.

Hello! Yes, unfortunately problem reappeared. So I have completely disabled all caching (both browser and local). If you have any other ideas, you are most welcome.

Hi

Unfortunatelly this problem is connected with some specific server configuration which I could not discovered on couple of occasions. I think best idea would be to leave the cache disabled and use a 3rd party cache module as jotCache for example. Please try it and let me know if this works.
