main menu position and making multilanguage site

hello, I do not have the "main menu" position to change the module at this position. Because I want to make my website in French and English and the problem is that the main menu does not change regardless of the chosen language.

Our templates are not using menu as a module but as a static template element. To make it multilanguage please follow this instructon: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/ge ... oomla-1-7/

or, which I found much simplier use Falang component to translate menu items.
