I'm using the GameNews template for what is essentially I blog that I've developed. I'm planning to use K2 articles for my blog entries but right now there's no pagination at the bottom of the page that will allow the reader to easily link to the next (or previous) blog entry (in chronological order). Is there a way to do this?

Specifically, i'm looking for something like the links at the bottom of this page http://demo.gavick.com/joomla25/publish ... Itemid=234 but, instead of linking to articles strictly within a category, I want to link to the next or previous K2 article based on publication date (regardless of category).

Hi,
using K2 - you can use only included in K2 features.
Check K2 category settings, there you will find all available options - to get similar appearance (I mean links).
but also for K2 there should be some additional extensions which may help you to improve navigation.
This is good place to start searching; http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... extensions

Thanks for the response.

I've spent some time digging around but really haven't found quite the solution I'm looking for. My search eventually led me to EasyBlog which I'm now considering using with this template.

I've noticed that some of the newer templates are set up specifically to work with EasyBlog. If I were to install this component on the Game News template would it function as intended? What, specifically, do the new templates haveto support EasyBlog that the GameNews template does not?

Thanks again!

Support for selected component means that we created theme for component view, nothing more.
So if you check 'html' folder in template package you will find which components have "extra theme" and which don't.
But even when they don't have it - you can still use any component you wish.
