1). The wiki doesn't display well in ie9 (there are formatting errors)

2). I'm trying to roughly duplicate the look of the Fest demo, I created a page called Welcome, and set it to a full width page. I am unable to remove the "Leave a reply/Comment" section on the bottom of the page(s). How do I do that?

3). Do you have documentation specific to the Fest theme?

4). I see an Event page template, but I can't see how to use it to enter event info. Is there a special link to add schedules that are automatically displayed, or is the schedule page on your Fest demo manually created?

5). How do you create the page shown on the Fest demo link "Speakers" (http://demo.gavic.com/wordpress/fest/?cat=87)

Thanks!

1) I'll forward this problem to proper person.

2) Did you tried to disable comments in this page?

3) In general most important facts are stored in the http://gavick.com/documentation, but the details connected with this specific theme are also available in its demo content i.e.:

widgets - styles: http://demo.gavick.com/wordpress/fest/?page_id=506
widgets - areas: http://demo.gavick.com/wordpress/fest/?page_id=509
other features like typography elements (header, speakers page, schedule, built-in widgets etc.) are described in the category Theme Features: http://demo.gavick.com/wordpress/fest/?cat=18

4) It is described in the mentioned category: http://demo.gavick.com/wordpress/fest/?p=928

5) as above ;)

don't see any option to do so for this page (full screen template applied)

As far as I can see, the schedule is not automatically generated. It has to be manually formatted to get these screens. Is that true?

5) as above ;)

This is a little complicated. I'm a programmer by trade, but I am not a php programmer, or an expert in WordPress particulars. After reading the info you pointed me to, i still can't figure how to get that screen with all the speakers on it.

I suggest you to download the quickstart installation of this theme and see how it is configured ;)

I have bought the Fest theme and installed it exactly according to the quickstart installation.

This is how it shows up: http://versesfestival.ca/

The header animation is missing. The top nav is missing. The schedule and speaker pages are not showing.

Please advise.

@vanpohouse - did you installed a quickstart package or did you installed the theme/quickstart in the existing page?

I installed WordPress through my hosting server, then uploaded the Fest theme.

I will erase all files and try using the quickstart package.

Fixed!

Thanks. It might be worth emphasizing that this cannot be installed as a theme to an existing WordPress installation. You must create a database from scratch for it to work.

In general you can always install the theme without quickstart, but then you have to configure all things manually.
