the register now button...

OK, I tried a lot of things and search on the forum and still cannot get rid or change the register now button on the top... i installed version 3.6 of the template and still no luck finding that section on the template panel as mentioned in another post. What am i missing? any ideas?

Please go to the template settings -> Open the Features tab -> Find "Register Link" -> disable it ;)

Sorry but it is not a module position, you can change there the URL, but putting a module in this place needs bigger changes in php and css which are beyond our support. My Tip: if you really need to put a module, you have to change the structure in the layouts/default.php file in this fragment:
