'See more' button leading to error 404.

I have a problem with the 'see more' button in the front page news.
The link leads to error 404 ... index.php/k2/k2-categories not found

I have read and tried different solution but I am quite lost now.

To remove the error 404, I have disabled 'search engine friendly urls' but now the 'see more' button just reload the front page. So no interest at all.

If I create a new menu item to k2 / categories, I succeed to get a page with all category articles. But it does not change the behavior of the 'see more' button.
When trying to give the path index.php/k2/k2-categories to that menu item, it is not possible to save it : there is an indication that there is already an item with the same parent...

So, can someone help me to ever remove the 'see more' button or clean up my configuration to have a proper behavior of the 'see more' button.

NB : I have a test development site on local server, not the same pages and articles. I do not have the same issues but I am not able to figure out the difference.

You mean "En savoir plus ..." button yes? Please go to global Joomla! configuration and disable mod_rewrite feature. Probably your server don't support this feature and this cause problems.
