Hi Guys,

On the menu's for the template when you hover over a menu link it is animated and indents.
Looks good but I want to adjust how much the text moves over on hover.

Any ideas where I can do this?

Hi

This is the code You need to override:

Code: Select all
.gkMenu > ul div.childcontent li:hover {
    padding-left: 12px;
}

when you say "you need to override" do you mean that you just change the code you gave within menu.css or that you need to use the override.css file somehow? thx

Hi

By override I mean to create the same css class but placing a different value in a file which is loaded after the regular class. And Yes override.css file is the perfect file to do this as it was designed for that and is being loaded as last. But to use it You need to allow this file in template configuration.

Hi,

I would like to add a question related to this topic, so I won't open a new one...

I would like to change the color of the menu item on hover, and when selected. It turns to white, I would like it to be orange?

And also, all of my menu item don't fit in one row, so I would like to change the font? Make it a little bit smaller?

I don't know how to write code so I would appreciate your help?

Thank you.

I'm sorry, I found how to change the font size on another post.

Another question, how can I change the spacing between two menu items? I went to Template manager, and in the "Menu column width" I wrote a smaller number, but it only made the boxes of submenu-es smaller...

Thanks

Hi

You need to reduce the margin between list elements:

Code: Select all
.gkMenu > ul > li {
    margin: 0 10px 0 0;
}

thank you.

Can you help me with this too?

- I would like to change the color of the menu item on hover, and when selected. It turns to white, I would like it to be orange? But only for the main categories, not the drop down part, if that is possible? If not it's ok, I can change it for the whole thing, because like this, when I click on a menu item, it turns white and is not visible, because of the background... The only other solution is to change the background :)

Thank you.
