error installing the translation

hello,
i have installed the bike store template (quick start package), but when i go to translate it in italian from the extension manager it gives this error:

Copy failed
JInstaller: :Install: Failed to copy file /var/www/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/prova/tmp/install_51586c0a25f53/install_51586c0a2ccc6/it-IT.com_contact.ini to /var/www/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/prova/language/it-IT/it-IT.com_contact.ini
Package Install: There was an error installing an extension: site_it-IT.zip

how can i solve it?

Hi, it looks that was problem with installing language files,

1) TRY THIS: Install without unzipping it-IT_joomla_lang_full_2.5.9v1.zip


2) IF NOT HELP
You have to create 2 folders handy.

a) language/it-IT
and
b) /administrator/language/it-IT

unzip your package (it-IT_joomla_lang_full_2.5.9v1.zip) , unzip : site_it-IT.zip and admin_it-IT.zip
on your computer ,
then use FTP client to copy files (not folders!) to selected folders (a) and (b)

hi, thank you but how i explained you there is this error (look at the picture) so i think i need to install manually but i ask if i have to upload site_it-IT.zip in language/it-IT folder and admin_it-IT.zip in /administrator/language/it-IT or both in both the folder?

Hi,
1) Please delete all content (files) from /tmp folder
2) Try to install again (my last method).

p.s.
have you tried to install any module or plugin?
it looks like you have problems with settings. That's why you can not install "simple" language package.
