How to modify the Login Form

Hi all.
This is both a general and a specific question about the Login Form in Joomla 2.5 and in particular in the bikestore template.
I would like to modify the title "Login or Register" in particular of the pop up login (that is on the right top in home page) and in general in every occurences of the Login Form, replacing it with another title and adding an intro text with the possibility to insert a link.
For the first question, could you please tell me what can I do or which and where are the files to modify?
For the second question, that is "add a simple text with a link", I'm not sure that the procedure is to modify the plugin adding new fields. So I would like to know how could I do or which files I have to modify.
(In the Joomla! 1.5 the procedure was very simple and it consisted of just modifing the language file.ini).

There is no difference while changing translations in joomla 2.5 You still can do this in /languages folder, but for "Login or Register" I think You should look inside template lang file and not module's.
