template settings not working

my template settings are not showing up in joomla admin ? Can anyone suggest what the problem might be and how to fix it

Please tell me what installation you use, clean template or quickstart ? What is your Joomla! version ?

I am using the latest version of joomla 2.56 and it was a quickstart install

You are looking for settings in wrong place, template features are not available in customization settings but in 'Edit settings' page, please open template in 'Styles' tab not in 'Templates'.
